During 2014 the ATO stopped mailing out paper copies of BAS and IAS forms to taxpayers once they lodged just one form electronically.
If we have lodged your BAS or IAS for you recently, or we have done an amended BAS whilst doing your year end accounts, or you ask us to lodge it for you due to our Tax Agent’s extension, please be aware that you will automatically go on to the electronic lodgement cycle and will no longer receive paper copies from then on.
If this has happened to you, the best thing to do is setup a Business Portal Account on the ATO website which will allow you to lodge your BAS and IAS electronically (if you wish to continue to do so yourself). It’s a pretty straight forward setup but we can assist you if needed.
Alternatively, you can email your BAS or IAS information to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can lodge it for you.
